'Never Give Up'

Powerade is the the Official Sports Drink to top teams in Ireland and Northern Ireland such as the Ireland, Leinster and Ulster Rugby teams, Dublin and Galway GAA teams, and the Northern Irish Football Team. Powerade is an isotonic drink which contains fast acting carbohydrates, minerals and electrolytes. It was developed by sports scientists to help people participating in exercise or sports activity to perform at their best for longer.

Dehydration occurs due to a loss of water through perspiration. Pre-hydrating with Powerade 15 minutes before sport or exercise is proven to maintain the body's hydration and energy levels during sports activity, resulting in continued peak physical performance and rapid recovery. This research, carried out in 2005 by the University of Ulster Sports and Exercise Research Group, found that drinking Powerade before sports allows an athlete to work harder, go further, and perform at optimum levels for longer.
